WHO WE ARE
The Rural Nevada Democratic Caucus is the largest caucus of the Nevada State Democratic Party, spanning across 15 of the 17 counties of Nevada and representing all Democrats within those regions. We are the official and collective voice of all Democrats within the Rural areas of the State of Nevada. We are made up of all active Democratic Central Committees from each of our rural counties.
Our purpose is to work with, empower, communicate with and lead Democrats across Rural Nevada. We are also here to assist with Democratic functions, work together to on issues of importance to the rural areas of the state, and to coordinate Democratic Party activities between the rural counties and the Nevada State Democratic Party.
WHAT WE DO
As the Rural Caucus, it is our job to help elect Democrats across rural Nevada and assist with expanding the Democratic Party through voter registration, community engagement and working closely with each of our rural county parties to ensure that we are properly represented and that our voters have a strong voice.
Empowering Democrats is important which is why we believe in meeting you where you are and working with you to ensure that our voice is heard. We are often represented at various community events across the Silver State and we believe in fighting for solid Democratic ideals that are at the heart of being Rural Democrats.
We hold regular monthly meeting virtually to engage our members and to update Democrats on what's going on and we also meet both quarterly at state party central committee meetings, as well as every other year in person at our Democratic State Convention. Our monthly meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of every month beginning at 6:30 PM. We encourage you to sign up in order to participate!
